Pipe bomb explodes at Dublin house

A pipe bomb has exploded in Dublin overnight.

Gardaí say the device went off at the back of a house in Spittal Field in the south inner city at around 11pm last night.

Residents reported hearing a loud explosion.

A number of windows were smashed but no one was injured.

Gardaí at Kevin Street are investigating.
