Critics urged to watch hunger strike film

Critics of a new film about the republican hunger strikes in the North should watch it before they attack it, one of the strikers said today.

Former Maze prison inmate and current Sinn Féin Assembly member at Stormont Raymond McCartney urged sceptics of the controversial movie not to indulge in knee-jerk reactions before they’d seen it.
