Artillery shell prompts evacuation of building site

The site where's Cork's tallest building is being constructed has been evacuated this morning due to a bomb scare.

An old artillery shell is believed to have been found on The Elysian tower site in Cork city centre.

The shell is believed to have been transferred inadvertently when topsoil was moved to the site, and not planted there deliberately.
