One man still in custody in connection with security-van robbery

One man remains in garda custody this morning in connection with a security van robbery in Dublin last week.

The man was among four people detained on Saturday when officers investigating the theft raided a number of properties in the capital.

The other three detainees, who included a 61-year-old woman, have been released pending instructions from the DPP.

Two handguns and a stolen van were found during Saturday's raids, which followed the theft of a substantial sum of cash from a security van at the Nutgrove Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham on Thursday.
