A Wexford man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old babysitter in his sister's home and cleared on a second charge of raping her on the same occasion.

The jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting the girl but not guilty of raping her in a Wexford town on November 25, 2006. The verdicts were delivered following about two hours deliberation on day-four of the trial at the Central Criminal Court.
