Labour calls on Health Minister to resolve row between HSE and PNA
Labour's Health spokesperson is calling on the Health Minister to ensure talks are held to try and resolve the current row between the Health Service Executive and the Psychiatric Nurses Association.
PNA members are refusing to work overtime or to carry out extra duties as part of their campaign for a better compensation package for members injured at work.
As a result of this action a number of beds and community services have been closed over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Labour's Jan O'Sullivan says there has to be room for manoeuvre.
Deputy O'Sullivan believes this compensation issue for injured health staff should be addressed.
