Two US companies have announced plans to create 45 new jobs in Dublin over the coming years.

Two US companies have announced plans to create 45 new jobs in Dublin over the coming years.

The insurance firm CUNA Mutual is investing almost €15m in a new European headquarters in the capital which was officially opened today by Enterprise Minister Micheal Martin.

It plans to create 25 high-skilled jobs at the facility.

Meanwhile, the pharmaceutical services firm United BioSource Corporation is to create 20 new project management positions in its new Dublin offices.

The company develops web technologies which support clinical trials.
