Device found in Dublin was explosive
Army Bomb Disposal experts have have found that a device left in Dublin city centre overnight was 'a viable explosive device'.
A number of houses were evacuated on Seville Place in the city centre just after midnight, after a suspicious device was put through a letter box of a house.
The Army Bomb Disposal Unit was called to the scene - the device was x-rayed and declared a hoax.
However, the package has since been found to be 'a viable explosive device' by Army Bomb Disposal experts.
