Fourteen convictions for serious tax and duty evasion were secured last year, according to the latest annual report from the Revenue Commissioners.

Fourteen convictions for serious tax and duty evasion were secured last year, according to the latest annual report from the Revenue Commissioners.

The report says more than 1,200 convictions were secured for failures to file tax returns, while there were 500 summary convictions for a number of customs, excise and VRT offences.
