Inquest to be held into death of baby on US flight

An emergency inquest is due to be held in Co Clare this morning following the death of a two-year-old girl on board a transatlantic flight earlier this week.

The plane, which was en route from Frankfurt to New York, diverted to Shannon after the Eritrean toddler fell ill on Tuesday.
