Watersport's centre hit by £1m bblaze

A watersports centre in Co Down was gutted by an overnight fire which destroyed an estimated £1m (€1.3m) worth of stock.

The cause of the blaze at the jet ski centre on the Ballygowan Road in Comber has not yet been established.

The fire took hold at around 10pm yesterday.

Firefighters struggled to contain the flames through the night, deploying a water jet to cool gas cylinders inside.
