Major drugs haul in Ennis

Drugs worth more than €50,000 have been found during planned searches Co Clare today.

The operation involving members of the Clare Divisional Drugs Unit, as well as officers from Ennis and the Garda Dog Unit concentrated in the Watery road area of Ennis.

Cannabis resin, ecstasy and amphetamines with an estimated street value of €53,000 were recovered during searches of open ground.

No arrests have been made.
