40% of motorists 'still use mobiles while driving'

A new survey has found that almost two-in-five motorists admit to still using hand-held mobile phones while driving.

The survey also finds that more than half feel commuting times are getting longer rather than shorter, with one-third of respondents spending more than two hours in the car every day.
