Garda motorcyclist hospitalised following crash
A garda motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after crashing while on presidential escort duty in Co Kilkenny.
The accident happened this afternoon on the N78, three miles outside of Castlecomber when the Garda's motorcycle collided with another vehicle.
He has been taken to hospital, however the extent of his injuries is not known.
Gardaí say nobody else was injured in the accident.
