John Gormley today outlined his plans for a major overhaul of local government since its introduction by the British government in 1898.

John Gormley today outlined his plans for a major overhaul of local government since its introduction by the British government in 1898.

At the Green Party annual convention in Dundalk today Mr Gormley said that in just 10 days time he will be launching a Green Paper on local government.
