A 68-year-old Irish woman who went missing in the Canary Islands on Sunday has been found safe and well.

A 68-year-old Irish woman who went missing in the Canary Islands on Sunday has been found safe and well.

Elizabeth Butler, from Kilkenny, went missing from her Tenerife hotel as her niece and members of her family were checking in.

She was found at around 11pm last night after she was spotted by a member of the public.
