NIB predicts slowdown in GDP growth to 2.9%

National Irish Bank has become the latest organisation to predict a sharp slowdown in economic growth this year.

The bank says it expects GDP growth to slow to 2.9% as the weakness in the construction sector spreads to the rest of the economy.
