Asking prices for houses advertised on the Daft.ie website have fallen by 1.2% in the first three months of this year, according to figures published today.

However, the website's owners say the figure masks significant regional variations, with asking prices down by up to 7% in affluent areas of south Dublin and Co Wicklow.
