Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern has predicted that the new hospital planned for the north-east will be shelved due to a lack of money.

Local TDs in Co Louth, who had expected the hospital to be built in Ardee or Drogheda, are angry at the news that it will apparently be located in Navan instead.
