New north-east hospital to be located in Navan

Fine Gael TD Fergus O'Dowd has slammed an apparent decision to locate the new regional hospital planned for the north-east in the Co Meath town of Navan.

Mr O'Dowd says he has been reliably informed of the decision, which he says has been made by "unelected, unaccountable, unnamed" bureaucrats.
