Increase in carers allowance threshold comes into force

A slight increase in the income thresholds for recipients of the Carers Allowance and Carers Benefit is coming into effect from today.

A single person can now earn up to €332-a-week before becoming ineligible for the payments, while a couple can earn up to €665-a-week.
