Kerry shooting victims to be buried today

The father and son shot dead at their home in Co Kerry last week are due to be laid to rest at Murher cemetery this afternoon.

Sixty-year-old Michael Hanrahan and his 27-year-old son Denis were found dead at their home near the village of Moyvane last Thursday morning.

A 30-year-old man charged in connection with the deaths is due back in court this morning.

Last night, thousands of mourners attended the removal of the two men to the Church of the Assumption in the village of Moyvane.

A large crowd is also expected at their funeral mass in the church this afternoon.
