Elderly couple found dead in Roscommon house

An elderly couple have been found dead at their home in Co Roscommon this morning.

The bodies were discovered in the early hours of today in Knockvicer, near Boyle.

Gardaí called to the house after they were informed that the 67-year-old man and 75-year-old woman had not been seen for days.

Post mortem examinations are due to carried out this afternoon to determine the cause of their deaths.
