Taoiseach refusing to comment on Mahon revelations

A Government spokesman has said that the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will not be commenting on the latest revelations at the Mahon Tribunal outside of the inquiry.

Last week, it emerged that a number of sterling sums were lodged to a building society account held by Mr Ahern by his former secretary in 1994.
