Traffic congestions 'costs economy millions'
Traffic congestion on the nation's roads is causing the Irish economy hundreds of millions of euro each year.
The Small Firms Association says gridlock on the roads means many businesses cannot get their goods to their destinations on time.
The SFA says hundreds of working hours are lost each year due to traffic delays.
The Assistant Director of the SFA, Avine McNally says one of the problems is that public transport is not reliable enough to be used as an alternative to the car.
