Irish consumers to spend €32m on 6.4m Easter eggs
Irish consumers are set to spend €32m on 6.4m Easter eggs this holiday weekend.
The annual chocolate binge will add 624 tonnes of additional used packaging to household waste.
Repak is urging all households to use their household collections, Recycling centres and Bringbanks to recycle this extra waste
Derek Crowe of Repak said the company is planning to recycle up to 17,000 tonnes of the Easter waste.
