Ireland's inflation rate has jumped sharply in the past month, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

Ireland's inflation rate has jumped sharply in the past month, according to figures published today by the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO says average prices increased by 1.2% during February, pushing the annual inflation rate up from 4.3% to 4.8%.
