Nurses report serious overcrowding at Portlaoise hospital

Nurses at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise were reporting serious overcrowding in the A&E Department today.

The Irish Nurses Organisation said there were 12 patients who couldn't get beds and had to be cared for on trolleys.
