Man accused of Limerick hotel murder to stand trial

The man accused of killing Sylvia Roche Kelly at a Limerick City hotel has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court.

The man accused of killing Sylvia Roche Kelly at a Limerick City hotel has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court.

Jerry McGrath of Ballywalter, Knockavilla, Co Tipperary, has been charged with murdering the 33-year-old Clare woman at the Clarion Hotel on December 8, 2007.

Detective Sergeant Kevin McHugh presented the book of evidence for the case at Limerick District Court today.

The accused was remanded in custody to appear during the current session of the Central Criminal Court.
