Belgian police find body of missing Dublin man

The family of missing Irishman Conor Synnott say they have identified his body in Belguim.

The family of missing Irishman Conor Synnott say they have identified his body in Belgium.

The 33-year-old, from Dun Laoghaire in Co Dublin, disappeared in Brussels in the early hours of February 23.

He had been living in the Belgian capital since last August.

The Synnott family say his body has now been discovered close to where he was last seen 11 days ago, but foul play is not suspected in his death.

They have thanked everyone who supported them during their search efforts in Brussels.
