High levels of radon gas found in Tipperary house

A house in Co Tipperary has been found to contain 45 times the acceptable level of the cancer-causing gas radon.

The Radiological Protection Institute says the owner of the house near Ballyporeen has taken the appropriate steps to fix the problem.
