Man dies in car accident

A man died tonight when his car collided with a roadside pole, gardaí said.

The collision occurred on the Naas Road near Baldonnel in Co Dublin at 6.15pm.

The 46-year-old victim was taken to Tallaght General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
