Doctors and nurses at some of the country's main hospitals are being criticised for their bedside manner.

A new survey by Irishhealth.com reveals large discrepancies between how patients feel they are treated at various hospitals.

St John's Hospital in Limerick performed the best, while the Mid Western Regional Hospital came out the worst.

Dublin's Mater Hospital, Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and Limerick Regional were also in the bottom five.
