Motorists on Dublin's M50 are facing major congestion after a lorry shed its load on the motorway this morning.

The southbound off ramp to Ballymount is closed as a result of the incident and traffic is being diverted via the Tallaght junction.

Major congestion has been reported at the Lucan interchange and on the N7/Naas Rd inbound as a result.
