The man shot in Spain early this afternoon has been named as Patrick Doyle, aged 27, from Portland Row in north inner city Dublin.

The Spanish police arrived at the scene in Espotona on the Costa Del Sol to find a four-wheeled drive vehicle with five gunshots. Four in the windscreen, and one in the front passenger door.
