One of the men convicted of the manslaughter of Detective Garda Jerry McCabe in 1996 is being released from Castlerea Prison today.

Jeremiah Sheehy received a 12-year sentence for his role in the killing of Garda McCabe during a botched IRA raid on Adare Post Office in Co Limerick in 1996.
