The Court of Criminal Appeal has rejected today an appeal brought by a Co Galway man against his conviction for the murder of an elderly woman more than 25 years ago.

The Court of Criminal Appeal has rejected today an appeal brought by a Co Galway man against his conviction for the murder of an elderly woman more than 25 years ago.

Yesterday, the three judge CCA, presided over by Mr Justice Nicholas Kearns, sitting with Mr Justice Michael Hanna and Mr Justice Anthony McCarthy, and judgment dismissed an appeal brought by Michael Joseph Kelly against his conviction for the murder of 87-year-old Margaret Glynn.
