Woman held in connection with west Dublin death released

Gardaí have released a 21-year-old woman who was being questioned about the death of an elderly man in west Dublin at the weekend.

The 66-year-old man was fatally injured when he was hit by a car in the Wellview Grove area of Mulhuddart in the early hours of Saturday morning.
