FF refuse to comment on PD controversy

Fianna Fáil is refusing to be drawn on the latest controversy surrounding the PDs.

The Minister for Education has said comments by one of the party's founding members, that it should pull out of Government, is an internal matter for the Progressive Democrats themselves.

However, she said the Progressive Democrats have worked well in coalition with Fianna Fáil over the past ten years.

When asked if Paul Mackay was directing his negative criticism towards Fianna Fáil, Mary Hanafin said she did not know what he was talking about.
