Investigations into Newbridge raid continue
A manhunt is continuing in Kildare for four armed robbers who held up the Tote at Newbridge Greyhound Stadium last night.
The men threatened race-goers and staff before making off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Gardaí are continuing to search this afternoon for four men who held up the Tote at Newbridge Greyhound Stadium at about half ten last night.
They entered the stadium wearing balaclavas and gloves, and one of the men was armed with a double barrel shotgun, while another carried a slash hook.
No one was injured in the robbery and no shots were fired, however staff and patrons of the Greyhound stadium were threatened.
The men escaped in a blue BMW, it was later found at Roseberry in Newbridge.
Gardaí have not yet made any arrests in the case.
