Trains between Dublin and Dundalk suspended

Iarnród Éireann is suspending all commuter services between Dublin and Drogheda-Dundalk this weekend to allow repairs to be carried out on a stretch of track in North Dublin.

Iarnród Éireann is suspending all commuter services between Dublin and Drogheda-Dundalk this weekend to allow repairs to be carried out on a stretch of track in North Dublin.

The track was damaged when six heavy goods carriages derailed yesterday morning.

Passengers travelling between Belfast and Dublin are being bussed to and from Dundalk.
