Commuter services cancelled after derailment in Dublin
Commuter rail services from Dundalk and Drogheda have been cancelled this morning following the derailing of a freight train in north Dublin last night.
Six wagons, each weighing 75 tonnes, left the track two miles south of Skerries just after 11pm.
Up to 7,000 commuters are expected to be hit by this morning's cancellations.
The Dublin-to-Belfast service is also affected, but DART services will operate normally.
Iarnród Éireann says it will take some time for services to get back to normal.
