The search for Irish teenager Amy Fitzpatrick is due to resume in southern Spain today as concern for her safety continues to grow.

The 15-year-old Dubliner, who moved to the Costa del Sol with her mother three years ago, has been missing since leaving a friend's house in Fuengirola nine days ago.

Family members told a press conference last night that an item of clothing found by the search team yesterday did not belong to Amy.

Hundreds of people, including specialist teams with sniffer dogs, are taking part in the search operation.
