Teenagers arrested following attack and robbery

Two teenagers have been arrested following an incident last night where a young man and woman were tied up and robbed in Athlone.

The 20-year-old man and the woman, who was in her late teens, were at home at Roslevin Lawns in Athlone when the attack occurred just after midnight.

The couple received minor injuries and a small amount of property was stolen.

Two men in their teens were later arrested and are now being detained at Athlone Garda Station.
