One man dead after stabbing in Meath

A 23-year-old man has died after a stabbing in County Meath.

The young man was injured in the incident at the Milltown Estate in Ashbourne shortly after 4am this morning.

He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown but was pronounced dead.

Gardaí have launched a full investigation.

The scene has been sealed off for a full technical examination.

A second man injured in the incident is being treated in hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
