Lack of driver cover hits Cork-Dublin trains
Iarnród Éireann today cancelled the 1pm and 6pm trains between Cork and Dublin due to a lack of driving cover.
In a notice to customers posted on it's website, Iarnród Éireann apologised for an inconvenience, but said the trains had to be cancelled "due to operational problems associated with drivers not covering absences".
