Man dies after accident in Co Meath
A pedestrian has been killed in an accident on the N3 in Co Meath this evening.
It is understood the man was hit by a car and bus, at Garlow Cross, outside Navan shortly before 5.30pm.
The road will remain closed to traffic, to allow accident investigators examine the scene.
It is the third death in the North East in less than 24 hours.
A 23-year-old woman died when two cars were in collision at Cornamucklagh, Omeath shortly before 8pm last night.
A 29-year-old man was killed when the van he was driving crashed at Whiterath, Dromiskin, shortly before 8am this morning.
