23-year-old female dies in Louth road accident

A 23-year-old woman has been killed in a road accident in Co Louth.

She was driving a car which crashed into another vehicle at Cornamucklagh just before 8pm last night.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was taken to Louth Co Hospital.

A couple who were traveling in the second car were also injured in the accident, and are recovering in hospital.
