Gardaí are continuing to hold a 24 year-old man for questioning in relation to a major drugs seizure in Co Monaghan yesterday.

About thirty-thousand ecstasy tablets and three kilograms of cannabis were seized in a wooded area on the outskirts of Carrickmacross in a pre-planned operation.
