Ahern vows to leave no stone unturned in Quinn case

The parents of murdered Armagh man Paul Quinn say the Taoiseach has promised to leave no stone unturned in the hunt for their son's killers.

Bertie Ahern unexpectedly attended a meeting between the Minister for Justice and Stephen and Briege Quinn at Leinster House this morning.

Their 21-year-old son was beaten to death by a gang of men in a shed in Co Monaghan in October.

They claim the killing was carried out by members of the IRA.

Speaking after today's meeting, they said they were satisfied that the Taoiseach was doing all he could and were confident Paul's killers would be brought to justice.
